This project is the first testing of bulletproof vest by Department of military Science and Technology at 199 Army Center on Nov, 10th 2020 which have participate from Office of The Party Central Committee, Vice Minister of Ministry of National Defense, Director of General Political Department of Lao People's Army, Technicians officer from  Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Science and Technology.

Mr. Viengsay Somvichit is the Director of Department of military Science and Technology have been announced that following the agreement of Ministry of National Defense that technology work is very important to develop the country. so, they are focusing to do research and development product to use.

In this project they can produce 2 products:

1. Bulletproof vest of K45 which protect all the types of the shoot gun and the size of the product is 26x31cm with the weight of 1.8Kg

2. Bulletproof vest of AK which protect from Long Firearms and the size of the product is 26x31cm with the weight of 2.8Kg
