The Korea Defense Industry Trade Support Center is a pan-government organization launched on October 15, 2009 with the participation of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of National Defense, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation.

The development of the defense industry is very significant not only in terms of national security and realization of self-sufficient defense, but also in terms of economy, such as the development of national industries and job creation. The national defense industry has recently completely changed its paradigm from the domestic market to the focus of overseas shipments.

However, the global defense market is changing rapidly, with existing exporting countries and new emerging countries such as China and Japan participating, buyers are demanding various conditions such as industrial resource cooperation for successful trade.

In this situation, our Defense Industry Trade Support Center plays various roles in the development of the national defense industry through the expansion of the overseas export of domestic defense companies by performing its role as a contracting party in GtoG Transactions, providing financing solutions to the purchasing countries, supporting the negotiation of the package deal of industrial resources, supporting offset trade, supporting defense export, and other pan-governmental export support activities.

In order to expand our companies' advance into the world in the diversified international defense market and become the world's leading defense industry, we will make further efforts to become an efficient and professional defense export support institution by providing an one-stop defense export support service.
